my dad, of course. i swear he works like nonstop everyday just to provide luxury for us. sometimes we barely see him anymore because he’s out working overtime everyday and on weekends. he’s a 4-job-man, my hero! he never shows his weakness or how run down/beat he is and is still so understanding and patient, like whenever someone makes a mistake or whatever, he doesn’t blow up too much about it because for him it’s about doing what’s felt is right and if a mistake is made, just learn from it. he used to tell us about how his life was like back in the philippines and how it was hard for him losing his mom at a young age, having his dad come home only on weekends, and living separate from his siblings. i remember the term he used was “growing up in the streets” haha. im so thankful that he brought us up in a certain way just so that we wouldn’t have to go through what he went through. he’s taught us all about togetherness despite the fact that he grew up totally independent. ah, he’s just an all around family type of guy and i look up to him. im glad that his personality rubbed off on me because he’s definitely the type of person i want to become when im older.
